7.1.5 Describe the role of feedback in a control system.

"Feedback" is basically "communication", and in the case of sensor systems, the feedback/communication is between the sensor unit and the processor/device recieving the sensor input.
The feedback is usually two-way, i.e. a "feedback loop".
